Reduce Your Dependence On Affiliates

Affiliates can be a great source of extra income, but don’t rely on them exclusively. You want to slowly start building up a lineup of your own products to offer your customers. This keeps them coming back to your website instead of your affiliates’ websites. It also increases your image as an expert and creates an aura of integrity.
Many affiliate offers may seem like a great deal when you sign up to become a partner and later greed gets to them. They may start to under deliver or cut corners. Some may outright cheat the customer your referred. If you are associated with that, it can mean a loss of sales for you in the end. Check your affiliates periodically to make sure they are delivering what they promise and always have a redirect link on your site used to direct others to your affiliate programs. Should one affiliate turn out to be untrustworthy, simply change the redirect link.
