Using Newsletters To Build Your Fan Base

Newsletters are the ideal vehicle for keeping in contact with your customers. They also help you to convert visitors to your website to buyers. But, using a newsletter to simply sell products will eventually work against you. More and more people are wary of signing up for and many consider them spam, even when they’ve agreed to be signed up. The trick is to use your newsletter to build about your site and products without stepping over the line.

If you can generate excitement for the newsletter, then people are more likely to open it and read it. They don’t want to see too many links to or feel pressured into buying every time they read an article. Be cautious with your links and be respectful of your customer’s attention.
