Build The List To Sell

Some people think that once you have people on an email list that you’ve got them sold. It’s not that easy to determine who will be responsive to your sales efforts and who won’t. You have to start with the intention of building a list that is focused on buyers, and not just people looking for free information and products. The way to do this is to adopt strategies that reduce a buyer’s objections and resistance to the sales.
If you can start to weed out the people who are actually buying from those who are just in it for a free ride, you can start to target your sales to that demographic that produces a better return on your time investment. After a while, if you find your email list full of freeloaders, you know that the strategies you’ve implemented need to be reviewed and the list targeted more to sell.
